Q&A Percy Jackson edition

Hey geekers!!!

From now on there will be 2 posts a week! Since Lo and I are on vacation we're going to have a lot more time to post, so every week there will be a post by Lo and one by me (twice the fun ^-^). This week's theme will be quizzes about books! We're going to ask ourselves 20 questions about a series of books! The series of books that I've selected is Percy Jackson, by Rick Riordan. These are my favorite books of all time! I'm going to write the questions down bellow. Try to answer them yourselves, I would love to read you guys' opinion!

#1 Which of the books from the first collection are your favorites? (I couldn't just pick one).

A: My favorite would have to be The Battle of the Labyrinth and The Titan's Curse. So many important adventures/battles occur in these books, and even some romance. There are also some new characters introduced S2.

#2 Which of the books from the second part are your favorites?

A: I haven't read all of them yet, so I don't really know :( I've only read "The Lost Hero" and "The Son of Neptune". Between these two, I enjoyed The Son of Neptune the most. I find Percy a lot more entertaining than Jason (sorry to those who like Jason better).

#3 Which of the books is your least favorite?

A: The sea of Monsters. It's not that I didn't like it, it's just not my favorite... The story moves too slowly in my opinion, not many exciting things go on.

#4 Did you like the movies?

A: No offense to who liked the movies, but I HATED THEM. The movies are completely different from the books. I think that anyone who has read the books would think the same that I do. Please read the books before you watch the movies.

#5 If you were to be a God's/Goddess's child, who would you want to have as a parent?

A: I would like to be the daughter of Poseidon, god of the ocean. I would love to be Percy's and Tyson's half-sister.  I did an online quiz once and I ended up being Poseidon's daughter. Funny fact: Lo is also Poseidon's daughter. We're half-sisters, yayy.

#6 Who is your favorite male character?

A: My favorite male character would have to be either Percy Jackson or Leo Valdez S2. Is it possible to not fall in love with them? They are both just so nice, and in my imagination they're not bad looking ...

#7 Who is your favorite female character?

                                               

A: My favorite female character would have to be either Annabeth or Hazel. I feel so bad for Hazel, and she understands me (curly power!). I also feel really bad for Annabeth. Also she is so nice and funny.

#9 What would Nectar taste like to you?

A: I think that it would taste like coffee with milk (as favorite drink) or like chocolate cake (as favorite sweet)

#10 What is your favorite quote?

A: The Son of Neptune: chapter 25, page 221
" He was frightened of the possibility of losing Annabeth's face completely when he got to Alaska. Maybe one day wake up and not remember her name."- Percy Jackson. (btw I don't know if those were his exact words, because I don't have the English version)

#11 Would you want to be part of the Greek community (camp Half-blood) or the Roman community (camp Jupiter) of Demigods?

A: I would want to be a part of the Greek community ^-^

#12 Which would you rather have: Anaklusmos (AKA riptide), the Wristwatch Shield (made by Tyson) or the Invisibility Yankees Cap?

A: I would rather have Anaklusmos, because it's a really cool blade - it goes back to your pocket when you lose it (really handy for people like me), and it has a "disguise" of something so innocent as a pen.

#13 Which are your favorite magical creatures?

A: This one's a tough one for me to answer... But I would have to go with

#14 What power from the god-parent would you rather inherit?

A: I would rather inherit the ability to control water/do waterbending

#15 Which 4 characters would you like to be friends with?

A: I would like to be friends with Percy, Leo, Hazel and Annabeth

#16 What's your favorite percabeth romantic event?

A: My favorite romantic event is when Arachne falls into Tartarus, but she catches a web on Annabeth's ankle. As the Goddess is falling, Annabeth gets pulled and she's going to fall with her. When she gets to the edge, Percy holds her hands so she doesn't fall. He can't pull her up with Arachne, though, and he can't hold on much longer. So he falls in with her for love. He couldn't live without herç if she's going to die he'd die with her.

#17 Which book cover is most attractive to you?

A: The "The Titan's Curse" book cover is most attractive to me, the tones of blue and lilac are very beautiful, and I love the illustration of the city, the rays of light coming from the horizon and the way it was drawn gives the idea that  Blackjack had just stopped flying, and had just landed on that exact moment. 

#18 Which character do you relate to the most?

A: I think that I relate to Leo the most. We both like to make others laugh and be funny or the weird one, we both were rejected by someone we've loved and we're behind in the love game compared to our friends ;-; (I understand you Leo S2)

#19 What was, in your opinion the worst heart break from the book?

A: To me the saddest heart break was:

Before Jason was "kidnapped" from camp Jupiter, he was dating Reyna. When he wakes up in Camp half blood, he has no memory of his old life, and in the time he spends with the Greek community, he falls in love with Piper. When he comes back to the Roman camp Reyna learns that Jason doesn't love her anymore, that she's been replaced. That left me heart broken ;-;

#20  If you had the chance of asking Rick Riordan a question, what would it be?

A: I would ask him: what was his inspiration to create such amazingly written adventures that made me anxious, such sad moments that made me cry rivers and such funny moments that made me laugh out loud in public. But the thing that I would want to ask him the most is, how did he get his inspiration for such unforgettable and beautiful gestures made for love by two teenagers who are far from being normal because they were the ones who made me believe that true and intense love really exists and everyday I wonder if I'll ever have anything just as special as they do. Also I would thank him for writing the books that made me like literature, that changed my life and that I will never get sick of reading them over and over.
